LEXUS – the synonym of luxury

The Lexus is a luxury division of Japanese automaker Toyota. Presently, the brand is available in over 70 countries and territories across the globe. Founded in the year 1989, Lexus is the highest selling premium car maker in Japan. Headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, with its operational centres in Belgium and the United States of America, it is amongst the most loved luxury vehicles in the world today.

The luxury brand marked its entry in the Indian market earlier this year with the launch of RX450h, LX450d, LX570d and ES300h. In 2013, the company attempted to enter the market but due to steep import duties, the carmaker had to pull its plan back. In India, the company serves its customers through its dealerships in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon and Bengaluru making it the fifth luxurious automobile brand in India after Mercedez-Benz, Audi, Porsche and BMW. Moreover, the carmaker is planning to introduce another set of dealerships in cities such as Chandigarh, Chennai and Cochin by the end of this year.
